No file editing is ever needed. The setup script asks for your database info and then automatically sets up your gallery for you. - The image-related features (such as thumbnails) work with either ImageMagick or GD. ImageMagick provides maximum quality, while GD is bundled with PHP versions 4.3 and so should be available on most servers. - Direct thumbnail caching. When a cache of the desired thumbnail already exists, it's called directly in the HTML without being routed through a PHP file. This saves you considerable server load. - Unbranded. You are not required to display any copyright notice or other indication of WSN Gallery to your visitors. - Easily integrate with your existing member database, be it a forum database or any other mysql member system. If you can use phpmyadmin well enough to read the field names of the other script's members table, you can easily create an integration file for that script. Pre-supplied integration systems selectable in your admin panel include Invision 1.3, vBulletin 3, phpBB2, Mambo Server, WSN Forum and WSN Links. - Sponsorship integration with PayPal and 2checkout. Require members to pay a set amount per day to be promoted to a usergroup which has extra permissions, require all visitors to pay to register, or let people pay to have their images shown at the top of a category. - Sort. The visitor can sort images or categories or the member list in any order, and the admin can set the default orders for images, categories, comments and members. Admin can set a secondary sort order for images where the primary sort order leaves several equal. - Hide images, categories or comments from the listings. Remove them from the list temporarily, or hide a category so that you can link to it separately outside of the context of the regular gallery. - The 'switches' area in your admin panel lets you switch features on and off instantly without having to edit the templates. - Generate plain HTML pages whenever needed. If desired, have HTML pages autogenerated and autoupdated. - RSS feed. Let visitors sample your latest images with their RSS reader. - Online users list. Optionally display a list of who's currently browsing your gallery, including their IP and browser. - An extensible help system which allows you to write up a guide for your users. - Share toplists with other WSN scripts. Show threads from your WSN Forum or links from your WSN Links within WSN Gallery. - Full support. Although WSN Gallery remains far more affordable than many other options, service is quick and effective. The author of the script handles all support requests, rather than leaving it to support specialists who might be trained in being nice but would lack expertise in configuring or extending the product.
